(Propoxyphene Hydrochloride, Aspirin, and Caffeine Capsules,USP)

Propoxyphene hydrochloride is an odorless, white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. It is freely soluble in water. Chemically, it is alpha (+)-4-(Dimethylamino)-3-methyl-1,2-diphenyl-2-butanol Propionate Hydrochloride.

Each capsule for oral administration contains 65 mg of propoxyphene hydrochloride, 389 mg of aspirin, and 32.4 mg of caffeine. Propoxyphene Hydrochloride, Aspirin, and Caffeine Capsules, USP contain the inactive ingredients Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Polyethylene Glycol Polysorbate 80) , Titanium Dioxide, Corn starch or Redried Starch, Gelatin FD&C Blue #1, D&C Yellow #10, D&C Red #33, FD&C Yellow #6, and FD&C Red #3.
