Xalatan Patient, Information, Instructions - Latanoprost
PATIENT INFORMATION
This drug is used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients who have open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
This medication may change light eye color to a brown color. The change happens very slowly, over a period of months or years, but may be permanent.
Report any eye reactions, especially conjuncitivitis or lid reaction, to your physician.
Remove contact lenses before using the solution; re-insert after a period of not less than 15 minutes.
Do not allow dropper tip to touch the eye.
This medication may cause blurred vision, burning and stinging, foreign body sensation, red or inflamed eyes, and/or itching. Inform your doctor if any of these symptoms occur.
